Happy accident: Mix 'em up! |

I bought two 4-foot Natural White T8 300 LED tubes to replace the fluorescents in my tool/laundry room. After modifying the fixture to bypass the ballast, I put in one of the bulbs. The single bulb was bright enough, but my wife wanted to see what the second would look like. To our surprise the second bulb was a "Warm White" that had been packaged as a 'natural white' by mistake. We thought 'shucks, we have to send it back.' But when we put it into the single fixture (the two bulbs were side-by-side), the combination of the 'warm white' and 'natural white' bulbs cast a very bright, neutral light that took the harsh edge off of the 'natural' bulb but wasn't too yellow-biased of the 'warm' bulb.
We said, "Wow! That actually works well together!"
My wife liked it so much I'm ordering another set just like these for the kitchen.
By the way, the bulbs work great!
